Terrible and far too salty
BEWARE!! NOT KOSHER FOR PASSOVER.
This is listed under the heading kosher for Passover, However the product sent to me today is only regular Kosher - it is also has Cholla Bread listed as an ingredient, which is obviously not allowed for Passover.
Always unavailable
Why is this product never available along with fried fish balls ect … have to cancel my shopping every time as it’s not available
Ox liver? Bread? No
Chopped liver is made with Chicken livers. This ox liver version is bitter and a bleak prospect
Very good
Tried once and enjoyed. Just bought again. Good price compared to what's out there.
Are they having a laugh?
I reviewed this four years ago, which may be the last time I bought it, and said it was better than nothing... just. It is no longer better than anything. All chopped liver needs is chicken livers, not ox livers, with onion and eggs, perhaps held together with a little chicken fat. It doesn't need imported eggs, imported liver, or sunflower oil. Most of all, it doesn't need half the liver replaced by BREAD! I'm removing it from my favourites list, because I will never be desperate enough to buy this product again.
