No taste
Pastry was too thick and the filling was tasteless.
Fills a Hole
Without the packet it would be hard to know what flavour it claims to be. It neither looks nor tastes like a product containing cheese or onion and has no discernible smell. The filling looks a lot like something pre-digested. Edible? Yes, enjoyable? Not really.
TOO MANY 'SWEET' FLAVOURS
I make my own with proper white or brown onions & do not precook to sweeten this complements a good Brit cheese & spud. HOWEVER here are @ least 3 'components' to make sweeter than we like - from caramelising to including spring onions etc etc. .Shame as we usually like Ginsters pasties
Big no
Got this on flash sale but should have listened to the reviews...soggy pastry and uncooked potatoes, not a pleasant taste at all.
Pastry like soggy cardboard
I've bought these in the past and enjoyed them. I got a two-for-three deal, two traditional pasties and one cheese one. They were horrible. Very dry and the pastry was like soggy cardboard. Over-seasoned with pepper. What on earth has gone wrong? Most of the first two went to the dogs, and they are getting the whole of the last one tonight. Never again.
good pie, sustainable palm oil used
I bought this in a flash sale and have to say the pie itself is very nice, good pastry and a nice cheese and onion filling. Ive since found out it contains palm oil so looked into it. They are using sustainable palm oil and are improving across all their products. Lets hope it continues
