not worth the cost
The flavour is ok but its very dense and not a good texture at all. Also says min shelf life 2 days when mine was delivered at 8pm on 15th and had use by date of 17th which basically gave me a day so had to freeze some. Certainly not worth this price at all. Wouldnt buy again.
decent bread
it looks like it's not to everyone's taste but I really like this bread. it can be hard so as the instructions say, lightly toast to refresh or I microwave it for 30 seconds if making a sandwich. Adding butter is a game changer, it's wonderful then
why rapeseed oil?
So many foods marketing as healthy. Seed oils are not healthy.
wish I saw the last review
was so excited to try this but it does indeed have a medicinal/chemical taste... I feel like it could be from the olives? it's a shame it has a weird after taste BC it's the first gluten free olive bread I have found. and it toasts nicely
Good texture but medicinal flavour
I love rosemary but it can taste very medicinal which is what has happened here, I think. Possibly made worse for me by there being buckwheat flour in it which I really dont like - I hope it is just the rosemary because the texture was very good for GF and makes me want to try the unflavoured sourdough.
Good flavour, careless baking
I ate this toasted, with a good slithering of mushroom pate. The flavour was good. the herbs and olives balanced well with the sweet earthiness of the mushroom. What lets this product down however is the baking. Across the base of the loaf is a centimetre thick wedge of unproven dough, only slight countered by the toasting of each slice. This is simply a failure in the baking process of the bread, and I am hoping a one-off error by the manufacturer, as otherwise, this is quote nice for gluten free.
