totally different to fresh but in a good way

For those who are expecting something like fresh you will be sorely disappointed, I love fresh roasted asparagus but this is totally different. Yes its very soft but it is supposed to be and yes it is difficult to get them in tact out of the jar but just use a fork and gently prod into the top of a spear and pull out. They are delicious in a salad or just on the side of some sliced meats and cheeses. I first had white asparagus like this in France and Ocado used to sell a French version which was better but these seem to be the only available ones now. I buy every week.

Delicious and quick

I really like these white asparagus tips. Theyre great in a quick salad and remind me of summers in France. (Btw, theyre very different to fresh green asparagus.)

Breaking apart

These asparagus stems are tiny and breaking apart. I wanted to put them into a salad but they are way too soft for that

small and tasty but looked strange

I didnt realise how small this jar was going to be when I ordered it. My fault really but it tastes good, really like it should. But it looked a bit strange with the tips missing. Will buy tinned white asparagus next time.
