Delicious
Duck legs at their best
Tasty but one issue
Takes a long time to cook, but worth it. Basting is worthwhile as makes the skin very tasty. Have sometimes found the beginning of feathers in the skin though.
Easy to confit
I often buy this product. An easy way to make confit duck legs: season the duck and place in a slow cooker with about 125ml of olive oil, 2 sliced garlic cloves and a few sprigs of fresh thyme. Slow cook for 6 hours. You can then cool them and pop them in the fridge overnight (tends to intensify the flavour) or jump straight to the next step: pop in an air fryer at 180 for 20 mins, or into a normal oven at 200 for 30 mins, to crisp the skin. I serve them with either a red wine or orange sauce. Delicious! Also a great dinner party dish, especially with the current 3 for £12 offer. Your guests will be impressed.
gone bad
Gone bad well before the expiry date on 3 seperate occasions now.
Good value
Easy to cook and many ways to dress it up
Incomplete instructions
Very unclear as to whether to cook skin side up or down or cover in oven
