If you are one of those special sorts who can kick without caffeine; this one's for you. And our mule's going to make sure you don't get shorted on flavour.
This crop will change from season to season (see below to check that out), but you can be sure it'll get the full patented Swiss water treatment so as to preserve the unique flavour and aroma of each and every bean. As if our mule would let it happen any other way.
Country of Origin
Organic
Storage
Store away from direct sunlight and any strong odours - these beans have had enough sun thank you very much. And don't even think about putting it in the fridge.
Once open, squeeze out the air, seal the bag tightly and use within 2 weeks.
Preparation and Usage
1. Choose your weapon
Grumpy Mule coffees are suitable for use in a wide range of brewing equipment. For espresso machines, finely grind your beans for best results.
2. Load Up
Use 2 heaped dessertspoonfuls (those big ones your mum only had out for special occasions) of fresh, ground coffee per cup. If you want to be a nerd about it that's 15g per 250ml of coffee.
Espresso-heads, a good extraction time for our coffee is about 27 seconds per shot. Just don't count mississipily (watch Friends, it'll make sense).
3. Fire!
Allow heated water to come off the boil (about 93-95º) before pouring. It's just enough time to tweet a pic of the pack at a jaunty angle. Serve the coffee immediately once brewed.

But he's not really that type. The mere sight of Robusta beans or instant coffee crumples his brow and clenches his jaw.
After all, good coffee is never a matter of taking it easy - flavour doesn't just 'turn up'. It needs to be cultivated by expert growers, coaxed by obsessive roasters, and given the 'Hooves up' by the fussiest critic there is.

Fancy packaging, rubbish coffee
Could not drink it. Had one cup and chucked the rest in the bin.
5 stars!
1. Its organic! 2. Its decaf. ie not masses of pesticides! I drink black coffee. I LOVED it! This is definitely a light coffee. If you need a coffee kick, this is probably not going to give it to you. However, I found it full of flavour, and certainly not bitter.
Everything offered
Decaff the natural way without sugar just water, organic, English owned, and most of all tasty I've been buying from my local organic store and glad to see it's on here. Use in a sage coffee machine either beans or ground. Always tastes lovely
Weak and bitter
Wanted to love this as I like Swiss Water method for decaffeinated coffee, but unfortunately it tasted both bitter and weak when used in De Longhi coffee machine
light decaff
This doesnt deliver on the strong robust coffee I would prefer however with it being organic and using Swiss water process I am happy with it. Even better when on offer
light Decaff
If you like a very light blend, go for this. Not gutsy or robust enough in flavour for me, but a present taste.
