"London Cure" Smoked Salmon prepared from Grade One Scottish Salmon. Established in 1905, H.Forman & Son is the oldest producer of smoked salmon in the world and developed smoked salmon as a way to preserve the `king of fish', so it could be enjoyed all year round. The "London Cure" is very mild and not too smoky and this is why smoked salmon became the great gourmet food it was revered for. It's all about the freshness of the salmon, not about the smoke. The product is FULLY hand prepared, is low in salt and contains no sugar. Forman's product is used by leading chefs.

Hand-prepared from start...
My great grandfather started smoking the 'king of fish' in London's East End in 1905, making us the UK's oldest surviving salmon smoker. As it was then, so it is now. We still prepare our world famous Smoked Salmon totally by hand in our family smokehouse. We begin with only the freshest, best grade Salmon - within hours of it being landed.

Our hand-filleting allows us to handle this top quality fish when it is at its freshest. It's hand-cured, smoked and, unlike other smoked salmon, hand-trimmed to remove the pellicle or outer smoked crust. Each and every pin-bone is then painstakingly removed by hand, before Forman's unique hand-carving by skilled artisans ensures each slice retains its exceptionally delicate flavour and melt-in-the-mouth smoothness. The slices are finally interleaved by hand to allow for easy separation when you're ready.
I personally guarantee that every slice you enjoy will be of the same Grade One quality that we supply to top Michelin Star chefs.

Good texture, bland taste

I have bought this before and it has been delicious. I ordered two packets for Christmas, they were very fatty and chewy and quite flavourless.

Best sliced smoked salmon Ive bought
I bought this on a flash sale as its more than I would usually like to pay for a nice breakfast. I will definitely buy it again at full price for a treat because it is the best sliced smoked salmon I have ever purchased. It is delicate and has an excellent texture, not salty or over smoked and chewy as some smoked salmon can be. The thin slices stick together so make sure you check carefully to see you have separated them. Would recommend to everybody.
