Originally smoked from the offcuts of Welsh kissing gates, we now slowly smoke this salt over oak chippings. The smoky flavour works brilliantly with scrambled eggs and caramel desserts.

high quality
Very salty so use not much. Rich of taste. Good quality. Recommended
Worth the price for selected use
When a recipe calls for a good sea salt / garnish then this is the one to use. The large crystals each hold the delicious smoky taste and are clearly visible when added at the end. I am a repeat buyer of these.
As seasonings go...
This is delicious. I use it on everything from all sorts of eggs; jacket potatoes and pasta, to chicken and chips and steak. A little definitely goes a long way.
A little goes a long way
I use this when I make Hawaiian kalua pork. Pork shoulder, garlic, a little ginger, smoked water and this salt- throw into slow cooker or low oven (covered) form4-6 hours and shred when tender. Delicious.
The Best!
Delicious on avocado, boiled eggs, delicate soups, mushroom pasta! Lovely smoked rich flavour. Even the kids are crazy about it!
Posh mashed potatoes
Although it's expensive, it lasts ages. I find it rather mild, so ended up using too much salt on my eggs just to get any flavour. But in mash it's wonderful, I'm totally addicted!
