it's like eating an old Bambi

Tough and tasteless. Save your money and eat your slipper instead. More flavour.

Wonderfully tender

Only got this as it was half price at the time and it was fantastic! Seasoned with salt, pepper and crushed juniper berries, fried for four minutes on each side in a griddle pan, rested for five minutes then sliced. It was lean, flavourful and as tender as fillet steak at a fraction of the price. Not sure if I just got lucky or others just haven't cooked it correctly but I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Disappointing

I am sure product varies, but rather than the lean steak pictured, I received 3 lumps of meat that looked like end cuts. Ended up dicing for a casserole.

Rancid both times

bought twice now and both times product has been rancid with a awful smell and growth on it. reported to ocado and can't believe this manufacturer is still allowed to sell the product

Rancid smell like vomit/poo

It smelt rancid on opening the packet. I tried to wash it thoroughly, cut it in half and wash it again. I cooked but the smell overpowering. I had to throw it away.

Tasty lean steak

Bought one pack and received one large lean steak which we cut into two horizontal pieces, plenty for two and tender and tasty.
