HN Beaujolais Villages 2020 75cl
£15
£15 per 75clProduct information
Le Beaujolais est arrivé!” is the cry of the bistro owners and wine merchants of Paris upon the arrival of each new Harvey Nichols Beaujolais vintage. Possibly the best known and most loved red wine, we have chosen to celebrate its connection and popularity with the citizens of the French capital with the image of an equally iconic Parisian landmark; the Eiffel Tower. Made exclusively from Gamay grapes by one of the regions’ rising stars, Philippe Vermorel, Domaine de Rochemure employs the traditional process of carbonic maceration to produce a wine that is fruity and aromatic with soft tannins. Fruit driven in style, this vibrant deeply coloured wine has a deliciously scented nose suggestive of freshly picked summer berries with more lifted notes of cherry and spice on the palate. Ripe, fruity and soft, this is delicious to drink on its own but also provides a perfect match for a wide selection of charcuterie, roasted meats and casseroles, as well as salmon and flavoursome fish dishes.

quite drinkable
Nice, light and smooth-very easy drinking. Not sure I'd pay full price for it as I think there are nicer wines at a lower price
Happy dad
Gave this to my dad for father's Day, he really enjoyed it :)
Fruity
A nice light red wine, which was enjoyable on its own. I usually prefer a heavier red, but found this easy to drink.
not my favourite
Ok but not a favourite, prefer a nice Shiraz
nice light red wine
Very drinkable, light red wine.
Ok
Felt it was a little vinegary but not undrinkable. I liked being able to buy the Harvey Nichols name, would make a nice gift, but not this Beaujolais for me.
