HN Rouge 21 75cl
£10.95
£10.95 per 75clProduct information
Our flagship red wine is made in the Languedoc department of southern France, where it is produced for us by one of the region's finest wineries, Ollieux Romanis. The donkey, as pictured on the front label, goes by the name of Dédé, and is a family pet as well as a long-standing part of the team at this impressive estate. The wine itself is produced from low yielding vineyards around the Corbières appellation, and is an equally proportioned blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Merlot.

Tasting Notes
Unoaked and fruit-driven in style, our Vin Du Pay Rouge is medium ruby red in colour with an attractive, sweetly perfumed nose suggestive of blackberry, cherry, herbs and roast coffee.
Medium-bodied, freshly balanced and focused in the mouth with flavours of juicy dark fruit and liquorice along with underlying smokey, savoury nuances.

seemed to still be fermenting
Opened the screw cap wine fizzed out. It seemed to still be fermenting. Not at all nice. We bought 2 bottles. One was worse than the other but both fizzy and fermenting. White was delicious,
Okay wine, but not impressed
It's an okay wine but definitely slightly overpriced. Tasted like it should be a £6-7 bottle of wine and lacked any real complexity. The first glass I had was terrible and after letting it breathe it became acceptable to drink. I really was not impressed and would not buy again.
OK but expensive
I did enjoy drinking this wine, however it is expensive for what it is. I have tasted better wines for the price.
overpriced
this is serviceable stuff and would be ok at a lower price-eccentric combination of grape varieties over complicates things
A decent red
A nice smooth flavour, all round pretty good.
I'd be happy to take to a dinner party
Easy to drink with or without food.
