Pleasant but overpriced
Got this free to review. It was nice, fizzy, fruity (bit of blackcurrant on the nose, but crisper on the palate) but it was only equivalent to a good cava or cremant. Around the £10-12 mark would be fair, and would definitely not pay full price. The blurb on the bottle/website listing is ambitious! Can't recommend at full price, but certainly nothing really wrong with it either.
Refreshing \x26 Fruity
I was offered this as a product to review. It was light, refreshing and fruity on the palate. It was a pleasant alternative to the usual fizz and if you want to drink something closer to home this is a great choice.
disappointing
Got this wine as recommended and as alternative to Champagne , bland taste and uninspiring - one glass was enough - will not buy again
Lovely British Wine
Ocado sent me this wine to review, its absolutely lovely! Great, smooth, rich sparkling wine to rival its European cousins Champagne, Cava and Prosecco. Much more Cava like in my mind, really delicious on its own in the garden on a warm night!
Not to our taste
We were sent this to review, the wine was beautifully presented in an attractive box (check out the base of the box for fun message) however we were disappointed in the taste as the wine was too lemony for us. Also quite expensive, would buy Champagne instead.
nice surprise
I was pleasantly surprise from this English champagne fruity, light and crisp, recommend it.
