Can’t go wrong with Heinz
Love these hoops with no added sugar. Perfect tin size and taste like original but less sugar and calories ! Perfect!
Why do we even need Stevia?
So I haven't had hoops in years and recipes end up changing, not tasting as good as we remember. From the first bite this was weirdly sweet. Even dipping a bit of toast, made the bread sweet? It never ocurred to me that they'd put sweeteners in something like this, and I just checked to find it's Stevia. I'm fine with using artificial sweeteners, I've just never liked Stevia. Though the reduced sugar beans contain Stevia and those are fine (I didn't even realise those used a sweetener until now), so maybe the sauce being thinner in the hoops does something to the taste. Wasn't sweet enough to throw everything in the bin, but I don't think I'll be buying it again. The regular can has about 6g more sugar, but if you can afford to have it and not damage your health, it might be worth it.
Artificial artifacts
Taste is beyond sweet as its using aspartame as a sweetener. Tinned pasta isnt my thing at the best of times but this one is surly to be avoided.
Handy sized tin
My toddler loves these - and the tin is just the right size portion. They're still very sweet, which is probably what kids like, but hopefully a little better for them than the full sugar version, which I find just too sweet
Tastes of stevia!
So misleading! Says no sugar or "artificial sweeteners" but is sweetened with stevia. It has that strong stevia taste too. So unnecessary!
love this
No added sugar version is just as good
