Quick and easy
Quick and easy lunch by just having this on toast. I found it far too sweet though, so won't buy again. The no added sugar and salt version is more healthier.
Handy to have in a can!
I think these are wonderful, especially for quick meals if we're strapped for time, then it's just a fast heat up on the pan, and they are nothing special, just in tomato sauce, but can be enhanced with a little mature cheese and sometimes scrap bits of ham!
The best
I have tried various brands of spaghetti over the years but this is the best and the only one I like. Lovely with sausages and mash, but I usually grate masses of strong cheddar cheese into the pan with spaghetti and when melted pour it on hot buttered toast.
Comfort in a tin
I haven't had these since childhood so being sent then to review was a trip back in time. Yes there are better things you could/should be eating but also a lot worse too. Not a gourmet option but then again they don't pretend to be either.
Took me back over 60 years
Its of no value nutritionally and I cant honestly recommend it to anyone who doesnt remember it from childhood teas.I had half a can on white toast with proper butter and it was delicious.
A Culinary Experience form the past
What an delightful trip down memory lane to be able to feast on a large tin of this spaghetti on some white toast with butter. 60p well spent!
