Helen Browning Organic Hot Dogs 250g
£5.95
£2.38 per 100gProduct information
Award- winning organic Hot Dogs, part cooked and lightly smoked.
- Moist and meaty, with texture, flavour, bite and character, slightly smoked and completely different from any other hot dogs on the market. Frankfurter in style but nothing like the mass produced rubbish usually associated to them.
- We originally produced these in Germany but in August 2023 after working with a UK manufacturer for almost a year we perfected this delightful German style sausage. The winning combination of organic, British farming and now with expert, British curing keeps the rich, meaty flavour.
- Made from outdoor bred, free range pigs with the highest welfare standards. Slowly grown to develop a wonderful flavour.
- If you like our hot dogs make sure you check out our speedy sausages, bacon and slow cooked range.
- Organic meat means no critical antibiotics are ever used and antibiotics are only ever used to treat sickness in the animal and they undergo a withdrawal period to ensure they never get into the human food chain. Never used as a prophylaxis to prevent infection or added to food as they are in many indoor conventional systems, as there is no requirement.

Brand
I love my pigs! I've farmed them since 1986 here at Eastbrook in Wiltshire, where I keep rare breed Saddleback sows. We work with 5 or 6 other farmers, and they share my philosophy - give livestock freedom, in almost every sense, and they deliver great tasting food.

If Only These Were Nitrate Free!
Good product, but I only buy once in a blue moon, because of the presence of nitrates. If these were nitrate free, it would be a weekly treat for the kids.
used to be our guilty pleasure
These used to be so good and hotdogs are our guilty pleasure but last time the skins were extremely tough . Back to the drawing board.
Good that it’s organic, but….
I love the fact that they’re organic. However, I wish Helen Browning would go one step further and make these sausages nitrate free !
The only hot dogs we eat
These are lovely. Yes the skins are a little tough, but worth it for organic hotdogs with alright ingredients.
not as good
These used to be a favourite in our house, but now they changed it and less meat more tough skin
wasted money
Tough almost inedible skin flavour was ok but meat was dry and grainy which is odd with such a high fat content at almost £1 each I won't be buying again, such a disappointment
