for Today - Farm for Tomorrow NEW bigger, jucier Pork Speedy Sausages Our award-winning speedy sausages are a little more grown-up … we’ve made them bigger, which means they are juicier and even more versatile. Still the same great taste and quick cooking, gluten-free and made from premium pork cuts with a delicate spicy taste. Perfect as a breakfast sausage, sandwich filler, toad in the hole or just plain bangers & beans! These little beauties are quick cook & kids love Them! They can even be cooked from frozen so dinner can be on the table in no time at all. Don't be tempted to overcook them or they will dry out - they really do only take 5-6 minutes from chilled or 10-12 from frozen. Why aren't these sausages pink? These sausages are not as pink as you might be used to; that's because they don't have any colouring added and they've been part-cooked to save you time & to keep them fresher for longer as they don't contain any artificial preservatives. Preparation and Usage
To
grill: Place under a pre-heated medium grill for 5 minutes (from frozen allow
10 minutes on low medium heat) turning once. To fry: Heat a splash of oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and fry for 6 minutes (from frozen allow 12 minutes on low heat) turning once. Serving suggestion: - Heat the oil in a large casserole pot. - Gently brown the sausages for 3 minutes. - Remove from the pan, then add the diced onion, celery, carrots and cook for 10 minutes until softened and golden. - Add the garlic, chopped tomatoes, beans, paprika, oregano, bay leaves and chicken stock. -Simmer for 30 minutes, the add back in the speedy sausages for 10 minutes until thickened. - Best served with a jacket potato, grated cheese and grilled streaky bacon on top for a luxurious twist. |

Unpleasant
Strange taste. Not for me, or the grandchildren.
Back to old recipe yay
After a recent recipe change I can now happily report that they are now back to their original recipe 🙌🏾 They got the approval of my kids after a few disappointing packs from the new recipe. So nice to have these quick cook healthy sausages back on the breakfast menu.
Recipe changed
The recipe is different. Theres a watery juice in the packet and theyre more like frankfurters in taste. Such a shame, sadly wont be purchasing again.
Rancid
I used to buy these fairly often, so didnt see the poor reviews about the new recipe. But as soon as I opened the package it was clear something had changed. The look and feel of these is night and day to what they used to be. And the smell Rancid. Even though I am using a full week before use by date, i need to throw these away. What a waste. This is NEITHER living for today NOR farming for tomorrow My guess is the farms have been bought by investors who are cutting costs Oh dear.
Awful
Opened the packet and hit with an awful stench. Smelt the sausage which seemed 'off' to the point l was almost sick. End up throwing them out.
Very good but bring back old recipe
These sausages are lovely and super easy, great for kids. However they've just changed the recipe. They taste like there's a lot of celery powder added for flavour. My son doesn't like them nearly as much now, please go back to the old recipe!
