OK but not quite as strong as hoped
Not quite as strong as hoped and does leave a slight aftertaste I've found, I think due to the emulsifier. It was OK overall but not the best essence/extract that I've used.
Dreadful, only 45% ginger-read the ingredients
My own fault I should have read up on the ingredients. It was awful. Only 45% ginger, very viscous and made my stomach feel strange. I will stick to fresh root ginger tea and ginger shots.
Gloopy and nasty
So gloopy that you can't even measure it out. If you check out the ingredients before buying, you will find out why it's so gloopy and unmanageable. Only 45% of this is ginger. Avoid
too hard to use- gloopy
I like the idea of these and I like the cardamom ones but these are so gloopy every time I use them the ginger drops go everywhere- theyve coated the side of the bottle and leak down on to the shelf. I reckon Ive lost half the bottle now as have to wipe it down each time with kitchen towel- not ideal as they are quite pricey. Also dont find them to work so well in cooking even when I do manage to get them into the food rather than all over my hands and the jar
great flavour
It is thick but great flavour of ginger
Not what I was hoping for...
I love the taste of ginger. I actually like it to be really strong. I've bought the Moju ginger shots in the past and I like the ginger taste, but they're a bit too lemony for me, so I thought I'd give these ginger drops a go. Having read the reviews, I was expecting a great taste. But these were just horrible. I couldn't really taste strong ginger - I would describe the taste as antiseptic. Yuk! What a disappointment.
