Supreme Sauerkraut
This is delicious Sauerkraut. As a huge fan of both Sauerkraut and turmeric, this is for me a match made in heaven. It is amazing in sandwiches, with burgers, straight from the pot...just fantastic. The flavours all work perfectly for me.
Go for the original
The only complaint of the original is that the cabbage is cut too coarsely. This turmeric one is even more course, with more liquid and did not like the taste.
Not my favourite; very sour
I eat sauerkraut or kimchi everyday. I saw this version and thought it might be interesting. I did not think it had a strong smell as others have said, I liked the cumin, but it was way too sour for me. Probably just my taste, rather than anything wrong with it per se.
Strong unpleasant smell
Bought this as Im trying different brands of sauerkraut. Really strong and unpleasant smell that stays with you all day, fridge stinks of it.
Sauercraut
It is no doubt a healthy beneficial product but if you are after traditional sauerkraut , it is not it. It is quite spiced up and has unusually strong taste and it is only lightly fermented ( it says four weeks) so I am not sure if it has all the benefits of properly fermented traditional sauerkraut. Due to strong taste my family preferred kimchi although they had never tried it before
Fresh & Zingy!
Livens up any salad! It is a strong taste so I dont use too much in one go but its lovely and adds a crunchy zingy bite.
