reminded me of cream soda
I have never had iron bru, so when asked to review, thought why not. Its flavour was very reminiscent of the cream soda I used to have as a child. Very pleasant drink, though maybe little sweet for my palate to have more than one in any sitting.
As you would expect!
went down very well with the young folk who like some alternative to Coke!
Very sweet
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. It’s not bad, it reminds me of family trips to Scotland, but it is like drinking liquid sugar.
The ultimate superfood
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Well it's Irn-Bru isn't it. Apparently some people don't like it. They deserve our pity, not our hate. It's true this now contains sweeteners, and sweeteners have ruined many a drink, but honestly I can't taste them here. More delicate palates may be able to, but what are delicate palates doing drinking Irn-Bru? I will note that the packaging seems slightly imperfect, mine had bust open in transit, but for one thing I was probably just unlucky, for another it doesn't really matter, and for a third it only goes to show that Irn-Bru cannot be contained by your mortal devices.
It's not my cup of tea
I am no a big fan of soft drinks, and this one is it too sweet for me. I tried to mix with gin and it wasn't a good combination as well.
Classic
Pleasant drink, nice to keep in the car or to have when you need that pick me up late afternoon. Taste is good but I’m not sure I’m a big fan due to concerns around its ingredients. So as long as it’s not something you drink daily, it’s probably ok.
