Brand
Rich berry fruit with lifted Shiraz spice and slight pepper notes.
In 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant named Johann Gramp planted the Barossa Valley's first commercial Vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek. From the vine to the bottle, the mission for Jacob's Creek is simply to improve the quality of each vintage. Fruit was harvested from a variety of regions within South Eastern Australia that have traditionally provided the correct balance of flavour for the blend. Shiraz grapes were grown specifically to be made into a sparkling wine, which requires very different grape maturity compared to those meant for still wine. Very light oak maturation results in a fresh well balanced sparkling wine. Awarded a Bronze medal at the International Wine Challenge 2008.

Blast from the past - Still love it!
Me and my husband used to buy this in the 90s - pre kids and responsibilities. Couldnt believe it when I saw it on sale with Ocado. We bought two and they are gone, cant believe its out of stock now. Will be buying again especially when its on offer. Doesnt give you that red wine head the following day, tastes great, not too heavy. I wish you sold the banrock station sparkling Shiraz - thats even better but cant buy that anywhere now

This shouldn\x27t work.....
....but it does! My husband tried it at a friend's and I was sceptical.....fizzy red wine??? OMG it is stunning, just delicious. Go on pop one in your trolley but don't tell too many people or they might sell out again. No idea what the \x27t up there is all about, I amended this review several times and gave up. And no, I haven't had a splash today!!!
