Shiraz - Red Australian Wine
Origin:
Wine of Australia
Brand
A medium-bodied wine displaying fresh plum and sweet confectionery fruit flavours. A well-rounded luscious mid palate with a soft tannin structure is in front of an attractive savoury finish.
In 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant named Johann Gramp planted the Barossa Valley's first commercial Vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek. From the vine to the bottle, the mission for Jacob's Creek is simply to improve the quality of each vintage Fruit was harvested from a variety of regions within South Eastern Australia that have traditionally provided the correct balance of flavour for the blend. Maturation under controlled conditions followed, with a final selection tasting held to select wines for the final blend. The resultant Jacob's Creek Shiraz is rich and strong in character.

Revolting
I wonder if we got a bad bottle, but this wine was absolutely hideous. Did not finish it.
Smooth and full bodied
A truly excellent Shiraz. It is extremely smooth and full bodied with a lovely fruity taste. Went beautifully with a steak dish. I would definitely recommend trying this.
Shiraz as it should be
An excellent example of what shiraz should be. Full bodied and fruity with a taste of the summer. Really nice as an accompaniment to steak but also on its own as an aperitif. Really enjoyable and easy to drink too much but no after-effects thankfully!
Always reliable
Jacob's Creek is always a reliable brand, I usually drink the white so this red made a nice change and I would buy it again to drink with the right food. Very nice
Sunshine in a Glass
Whether summer or winter, this gorgeous shiraz is so easy to drink, with food or on it's own with friends & it comes from the highly respected Jacob's Creek, who have never let me down.
Very Drinkable
Nice combination of fruity and spicy flavours making this a typical and authentic Shiraz. Very drinkable and excellent value. Would pair well with most red meat dishes.
