It's from concentrate
Misleading marketing - organic, UK based, and so on - because this shot is from concentrate!
far too sweet
Regret I could not drink more than one sip. So disappointed as I love the large bottle of beetroot and ginger. Never mind. Instead of wasting I added to two separate smoothies ( so not honey required!). Sorry all
evidence backed
Tried this just over an hour before 5-8k run. you can feel the difference in performance and stamina and its backed by research studies. the only obstacle is the taste so loses one star. I just down it quickly- two mouthfuls and you're done. the effect is more noticeable in these shots that a 250ml glass of the 1 litre size James White but that is much easier to drink. if you're looking for more physical performance i would try it an hour before your 'event'.
Ive discovered the secret of enjoying this!!
Mix 2 parts beetroot shot to 1 part good (40%) vodka and serve over ice. A stunning and delightful cocktail, a real conversation piece - especially with Russian friends - and yes ok, while Im sure the alcohol conflicts with the supposed health benefits it is an undeniably delicious thing. Ps just to reassure purists: I do also love it well chilled from the fridge first thing in the morning as a shot. Personally I think its delicious, zesty & full of life & vigour and yes it tastes of beetroot. Shouldnt surprise anyone!!
reviver
I found this works if you feel a bit groggy in the morning. I top it up with a bit of coconut water for a longer drink.
Easy but expensive
I was sent this as a free sample. It is a sweet tasting drink that is mild-flavoured and easy to swallow. It does seem expensive, as this is supposed to be taken daily. It is probably better to eat the real vegetables, but few of us do and the health claims for it are fantastic. It is available in bigger bottles, which should be cheaper.
