Impromptu add on mini gift for husband…
He is quite fussy about his ale… he really enjoyed this Cumberland Ale. Looks like I’ve got a new line on my Ocado favourites list!
Too twangey for me
This beer is too peppered for me I enjoy I nice Cumberland Sausage but this is over the top for my taste. The head/fizz in a widget glass also leaves something to be desired too flat
Lacks Flavour
Ended up a bit disappointed with a rather bland ale.
A fantastic brew
Please continue to stock this Ocado! A fantastic ale and easy to drink. Much better than all that mass produced stuff.
Great Beer
I almost don't want to recommend any Jennings beer just in case it sells out. Great at source. Not at all bad in the bottles. The cumberland ale is probably my favourite in bottles though. Just a shame that Ocado weren't selling the Cockerhoop during the summer.
Lovely ale, shame the seal was broken
I have had this in the past and it is a beautiful drink of ale. Unfortunately Ocado seem to have problems with delivering real ale intact - my latest bottle had the seal broken, something I only discovered on opening. It would be nice if all real ale could be delivered in bottle carriers to avoid such instances in the future.
