Wow
So far I have used this on pancakes, freshly made popcorn, ice cream sundaes, and atop squirty cream on a frothy coffee. Delicious.
yummy
This is divine but Im taking one star off because I really dont like the taste of burnt toffee. It will probably go well with other recipes but I havent found them yet.
Far too good
This reminds me of the treacle toffee my mum used to buy at Halloween. The ingredients and proportions are almost identical to the same brands salted caramel, but this has been left to caramelise longer and is all the more delicious for it. Tastes wonderfully homemade.
I dont normally like toffee but
I dont normally like toffee but its addictive! Oh no!! I had a voucher to use, so I read all reviews to choose which flavour. Im not a fan of any of it, but I choose this. I spread this toffee on apple almond cake which I bake. Chilled the cake, ohh nice! I think its goes well nuts!
Dangerous
I bought this on a whim while on offer to recreate a Salted Caramel yoghurt pudding which now tastes appalling compared with using this with Yeo's seriously thick natural yoghurt. It's addictive too. It says the ingredients are natural and may separate - I never take the risk and always ensure I stir it first. I now pay full price. Stay away from offers. You have been warned.
Lovely and buttery
Since I've been unable to get the Waitrose Seriously Buttery caramel sauce, I've tried various brands. This one is a winner. Toffee flavour, sweet, buttery, kids love it too. It's pricey, but other brands don't seem to be able to do it right at a better price
