Delicious!
These were a substitute for John West Sardines in Spicy Tomato Sauce for my husband - he loves them just as much if not more! Succulent, plump juicy sardines with a delicious flavour. Perfect with a sprinkling of black pepper and lemon juice. Always leave the bones IN as they are an important source of calcium.
Eos
Would always actually prefer the bones left IN. They add to your calcium intake I'm told
Good price for a decent product
These are a good basic tin of sardines for the price. Yes, you'll have to remove some of the bones but that's not a massive issue for this price. Worth it for a quick tea time meal.
Lovely sardines
Usually buy sardines in tomato sauce but tried these for a change. Made a quick pate by mashing with creme fraiche, horseradish sauce and a bit of lemon. Yummy on hot toast. Nice on their own too.
nice
Good on a bagel as a light lunch.
Tasty!
Always trust John West and these sardines were very tasty, suppose it would be good to have boneless, but it’s so easy to remove the bones, would recommend
