Just ok
The pastry was nice but the filling was lacking in chicken and too salty
Pastry is too hard
Got this on a flash sale. Definitely wouldn't want to pay full price for it. Main problem is that the pastry is way too hard. The filling was ok flavour-wise - could have just done with a bit more of it, but for me this is a lesser problem than the hard pastry. I think that they really need to fix that.
A Salty Substitute
(Received as a substitute for the 'M&S Gastropub Creamy Chicken, Leek & Smoked Bacon Pie for Two') A flatter pie, but broader. It seemed to have plenty of filling, and the pastry was good, but its saltiness marred the quality. If you're a salt addict, you'll think it's fine; if you're not, you won't buy it a second time.
All pastry no chicken
My title says it all. The pastry was OK but hardly any chicken
Bland and insipid - very disappointing
Very poor product for price. Filling is very meagre. Pastry crumbles to dust. Unseasoned. Will not be buying again.
Should have trusted reviews
Very little chicken. Pastry quite good. Rest of the filling a bit on the salty side. The M and S Best pie is far better but no longer in the meal deal. Won’t buy again.
