Creamy Lemon & Trout Pasta
serves 2
Prep time: 6 mins Cooking time: 8 mins Marinating time: 40 mins
Ingredients
200 g rainbow trout fillets, skinless, boneless
4 tbsp Kikkoman Ponzu Lemon
½ tbsp olive oil
90 g whipping cream
100 g tagliatelle pasta
40-60 ml pasta cooking water
4 sprigs of thyme
1 pinch of pepper
Method
Cut the fish into thick cubes and put into a bowl. Add 3 tbsp Kikkoman Ponzu Lemon, mix. Leave in the fridge for 40 minutes.
After this time, cook the pasta al dente in slightly salted water according to the instructions on the package.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan and add the marinated pieces of fish. Fry briefly on both sides. Add the cream and 1 tbsp of Kikkoman Ponzu Lemon. Season with pepper to taste. Add about 40-60 ml of water from the pasta pan. Cook for a few minutes (until the sauce is slightly reduced).
Transfer the cooked and drained pasta to the pan and heat together for 2 minutes.
Divide between plates and decorate with fresh thyme.
Slow Roasted Pork Chops with Ponzu
serves 4
Prep time: 5 mins Cooking time: 2 hours
Ingredients
4 pork chops
A pinch of salt
Freshly ground black pepper
150 – 200 ml Kikkoman Ponzu Lemon
4 tsp butter
500 g small potatoes
2 red peppers, cut in broad slices
Broccoli
Sesame seeds
Method
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and fry the chops on both sides on a hot frying pan until brown but not cooked through. Place the pork chops in an ovenproof dish, pour over Kikkoman Ponzu Lemon and put a teaspoon of butter on each pork chop. Place small potatoes and slices of pepper in the dish. Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake in the oven at 120˚C for approx. 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
Serve in the dish with steamed broccoli and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
