Kikkoman Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce 250ml
Product information
Suitable for gluten free and halal diets. Check the label on the bottle for the certified gluten-free and halal seals
Just like Kikkoman's famous regular soy sauce, the tamari gluten-free soy sauce is fermented in a special process which takes several months. This results in a rich, aromatic flavour and high levels of umami which intensifies the taste of food it's added to.
The award-winning Japanese bottle design allows you to control the speed of pour simply by placing a finger over one of the holes in the cap. No mess, no fuss - just the amount of gluten-free soy sauce you want!
Kikkoman Tamari Gluten-free Soy Sauce is the essential store-cupboard ingredient. You can use it instead of regular soy sauce (including light or dark soy sauce) in any recipe. Use as a cooking sauce for dishes such as stir-fries, stews and shepherds pie, or to add a final flourish to soups, salad dressings and sushi. And because Kikkoman tamari is especially rich in umami, a little goes a long way so it is excellent value for money.

Brilliant having a gluten free option
Even though this isn't quite as good as the gluten version, this is still tasty and does the trick
Great soy sauce hate the label colour change
They swapped the colours of the gluten-free version and the organic version, so watch out when buying this brand! The spy sauce itself is great, though.
Watery
I'd just finished a bottle of more expensive Clearspring tamari sauce, so the difference in quality was obvious - this is horrible and extremely watery. Ruined my stir fry - just made it overly salty.
Brilliant!
A firm favourite in our house! Has all the taste of soy sauce but without the gluten, much better than other brands we've tried, so much full of flavour.
Okay if you can't find anything else
I wouldn't call this Tamari, technically it is not either, the taste is okay but it's really not great and doesn't taste at all like proper Tamari, on the upside the bottle is 250ml so slightly better value than others, Clearspring do the best one but even that is not as nice as it used to be since the name change to 'Yaemon Tamari', it's basically now near on impossible to get a decent one in the UK so we have to take what we can get.
