Best teriyaki sauce
I've tried different ones including the fresh teriyaki sauce and found them to be average or unpleasantly sweet. This one has just enough sweetness without overpowering the fish. Very nice with some soy soaked tofu and a mixture of vegetables.
Quick salmon supper
Marinated salmon portions for a few minutes then fry, adding sauce from marinade and a bit extra for last 2 minutes. Served with stir fry veg and straight to pan noodles and sesame seeds with spring onion snipped over. Very quick meal. I used to faff around making my own teriyaki sauce with mirin and vinegar etc. not anymore.
Really handy and versatile
Was given this as a freebie last year but never really used it since but this week Ive used it 3 times as a marinade for salmon, chicken and steak. Perfect to add some flavour, especially summer salad season is upon us. Ill be re-buying definitely
Watery
I think you could mix your own and get better result, cheaper.
Handy sauce to have in stock
I had this as a freebie. I normally make my own but thought I'd give it ago. It was a little sweet so I added a bit of lime juice. I used it with salmon and chicken , really good. Make s a quick dinner served with noodles or stir fry veg
Not bad
Bought this to try. Not a bad flavour but too watery for our liking. Prefer to be thicker to use in the stir fry but this is our personal preference.
