meaty
Love these I always add a stock pot to my gravy gives it a better beefier flavour
Great stock
Add good flavour to dishes. Do take a bit of time to dissolve in food.
now contains GLUTEN and MILK!
What a shame. This was our favourite stock until the recent recipe change and our gluten and lactose intolerant family can no longer eat it.
Good deep beefy flavour
These have quite an intense flavour so often I can use just one in cooking. Was great for french onion soup!
Misleading review
The previous review is very misleading. I have checked this on the Coeliac website. Barley malt extract is used in very small quantities, the end product usually contains 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten or less, meaning it can be legally labelled gluten free. Like barley malt vinegar it is safe for coeliacs. The information given on the Ocado website is exactly the same as on the packet.
Not Gluten Free!
The rich beef stock used to be gluten free but if you read the ingredients this now contain Barley Malt which is a massive no for someone who is coeliac. Stating this is gluten free is very misleading if someone just went on the description and did not stop to read the ingredients. Ocado, you need to update this item description!
