Singing Gruner Veltliner

The dream of Laurenz Maria Moser V. and his daughter, Sophie Marie, is to bring Austria's indigenous grape to your table. Gruner is the best described as having elegance and finesse, a floral perfume with a refreshing zip, hand in hand with a distinctive fruity character and a rewarding finish. Why do we call it "Singing"? Guess you have to try it - Enjoy!

declining taste

I like Gruner Veltliner and the Laurenz used to taste light and fresh but with depth, great on its own & with food. It now has a mildly chemical initial taste..and as I have bought multiple bottles of it, can only serve it with a meal. Wont be buying again.

complex slightly heavier veltliner

This is an interesting wine but more of an aperitif - not so good with food as quite heavy and complex - the Waitrose one for £8.99 is much better for me!

Zingy!

Lovely, zingy Gruner with a slight bubble. Went very well with a Thai style salad. Great value when on offer.

Easy drinking

1st had this in a restaurant on holiday abroad, loved it then and excited to find Ocado stock it and its on offer! An easy drinking, crisp alternative to the Sauvignon that I usually go for.

Beautiful wine

After sticking to Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay for a long time I decided to branch out recently and try other wines. After a few different wines with a mixed review I found this one. Its easy to drink but refined. Far more depth and worth the money. Goes well on its own or with food.
