Why is Ocado charging more than Waitrose on this?
I have been buying this product for many years from Ocado. I notice that recently Ocado is charging more than Waitrose for this, why?
Weak and uninspired
These beans are not suitable for an espresso. They lack character, aroma and body.
Quite literally invigorating
It had been a long evening drinking the finest Tuscan wine available in the southern hemisphere, when my quite foolhardy neighbour Geoffrey knocked at the door the following morning. What a disaster having to speak to this buffoon so early. Brewing this wonderful bean gave me quite the jolt of energy required to undertake this task. “Hurrah!” I exclaimed upon sipping this wonderful beverage! Splendid indeed.
Smooth and not bitter, will buy again
We have struggled finding coffee that we both like, and this one is lovely. A rich smooth taste, but no bitter after taste. I can see why someone mentioned "chocolaty". I drink mine white with a little slightly warm full fat milk, and we use a cafetiere. We grind the beans in an ancient moulinex. We froze the non used beans as suggested lower down, thank you. This 250g pack on offer at £3.10 is good value, better than 1kg on offer, so if you like white coffee it is worth a try.
Excellent, smooth and chocolatey
A great, affordable espresso blend. I typically make more acidic or fruity single-origin espressos, but sometimes just crave something smooth and chocolatey. A comfort espresso. This is great. Rich, full bodied and with a good crema. It needs to be used quickly once opened though, the beans stale in a few days, even if resealed in an airtight canister. But they're great value, compared to truly fresh speciality coffee.
Best so far
