nice tuna steak
Hubby makes one of the recipes that he saw on Gone Fishing. Makes it with tinned potatoes fried with some thyme and some marmalade on the tuna steak. Its lovely and healthy. This tuna was nice and would definitely buy again.
tasty
big ole steak and as long as you don't overcook they are fab
Variable quality
These were good the first time I bought them, but the latest packet contained very odd cuts with sinews and dark red blood running through them.
Nice
Easy to make, I usually add some kind of season or marinade and eat with a greek salad for lunch. In an evening, i might add hasslback or garlic potatoes. Not 5 starts as you always get one piece larger than the other.
nice first time, dodgy second
The first time we ordered these they were really nice. Second time the tuna steaks looked really discoloured but I cooked anyway as didnt smell off. Tasted very fishy.
Nice steaks
I get these whenever theyre on offer and have become quite expert at cooking them. I cook same day or put in freezer, very latest next day. To avoid them hanging around in my non-commercial fridge. They love a marinade and even if Im only eating one I cook both and use the other in a salad with sriracha/mayo and a good lemony dressing, or chop up and reheat in a stir fry or ramen.
