Tasty in toasty

I tried this leerdanner cheese in a toasty, it melted to perfection and served with thinly sliced tomato it was a perfect combination. Being light I didn't expect it to be full flavour but it was, this is a shopping basket favourite for me

I am not keen on this cheese. I like that it's pre-sliced and convenient to put onto a sandwich.

Fell short of high expectations

I purchased this cheese with the intention of managing my high cholesterol and reducing my fat intake. With only 16g of fat per 100g, and 11g of saturated fat, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, despite the promise of a resealable packet, I struggled to open it and had to resort to using scissors and a knife, ultimately damaging the packaging. While the cheese slices looked the part, reminiscent of those seen in cartoons with their characteristic holes, the taste left much to be desired. It had a somewhat plasticky flavour that failed to meet my expectations. Overall, while it may appeal to those seeking lower fat options, its taste and packaging convenience fell short.

A nice mild light sliced cheese.

A nice mild light sliced cheese. It melts well. I ate it with a tuna melt. It was also nice in a cheese salad sandwich. The slices fit nicely on a slice of bread.

lighter version

I must say I did prefer the full fat Leerdammer cheese, but this was alright as well. Maybe less flavour because of less fat too, so keep this in mind.

Flavour and less calories

Love this cheese slices, I add them for my kids samdwiches. They taste very good and are healthier than regular cheese slices. They also melt very well
