Not for me
I don’t like vegan meat alternatives but I wanted to try these as they were on offer and because I could keep these in the freezer as an easy, high protein option but they tasted smoky and meaty which I don’t like. Ok but not for me.
the best
Yum these are the best veggie burgers! Even convinced my meat loving other half
Reasonable alternative
As a meat eater found this acceptable as a filling for a burger, would buy again.
Reasonably nice tasting
Tasted fine and as long as you treat as just an alternative filling for your burger bun rather than a beef burger substitute then it's enjoyable. It does have a slightly bitter/acrid aftertaste which gives the game away but they've done a pretty good job of reproducing a similar texture to meat if that was the intention. I purchased these as I was fed up with the excess fat in beef burgers (I'm no veggie - far from it!) but these are still quite oily although probably only 20% as much.
Meaty Taste
These are a good standby for the freezer. They have a substantial meaty taste. I like to oven bake them for best flavour.
A true classic
These are such a classic vegan/veggie item! They are a freezer must and enjoyed by vegans, veggies, and meat eaters! A great flavour, packed full of protein, and simply delicious
