Our winemaker, Jacques Lardière aims to capture that individuality. Louis Jadot wines celebrate Burgundy's diversity, reflecting these all important natural difference of soil, aspect and climate.

Tasting Notes
This wine is fruity and floral. It is mellow and elegant but also a little racy. With a silky texture and a structure of lovely finesse. Full, ripe red fruits are balanced by a supple freshness and acidity on the palate.
History
Louis Jadot was established in Beaune by our founder Louis-Henry Jadot in 1859. We have carefully striven to establish and maintain the quality of our wines for 160 years through the steady acquisition of the best vineyards in Burgundy. Over a century and a half later, we now produce wines from over 150 appellations - from Beaujolais Villages to Le Montrachet.
Regional Information
This wine comes from the famous cru of Fleurie. Situated in the Beaujolais, south of Mâcon, the soils in this region are well-suited to Gamay. The granitic soils here are very thin on top and are salmon pink in colour where the crystalline rock sub-soil reaches the surface.
