Awful
I assume the recipe has changed recently as this is nothing like as smooth & tasty as it used to be. Even with added seasoning, this was a pile of inedible gloop. Incredibly disappointing.
Just Awful!
Have they changed the recipe recently? I have bought this before and it was fine. Now it is not even the colour of gravy. It looks like a pale sauce and is too thin. Have thrown it away.
off putting
Im convinced they changed the recipe! I had some of this gravy granules leftover and the gravy I made last time was darker, thick and delicious I have no idea if this was a bad batch or not because it is truly revolting, thin, pale, very very salty and it ruined our roast!
thinner than stock
Shocked this can even be sold as gravy, insipid and thinner than gravy, where has the old marigold non organic recipe gone?!
pale thin gravy
Would 100% not recommend. Bought this as a holiday standby to save effort and had to add so many ingredients to thicken and make it tasty that it was useless. I was a vegetarian for 8 years and there are way better options.
Our favourite
This is really tasty but just takes a while to thicken up, not like other gravies where takes a minute in boiling water. I find if I add this in when I start cooking the carrots it thickens up gradually, plus then has the added flavour of the vegetables that have been cooked in it. Add in a bit of bone broth and makes a delicious gravy.
