Preheat the oven to 220°C/Fan 210°C/Gas Mark 7.
For best results use a deep edged baking tray with no holes to prevent any of the basting fats from leaking into the oven and preheat the tray for 5 minutes.
Spread your roasts evenly in a single layer onto the baking tray. Pop it into the centre of the oven for 35 - 40 minutes, turning them every now and again, until they're lovely, crisp and light golden.

Make a toast to this roast
Tasty roast potatoes yes uneven sizes but so what .Crispy outside fluffy inside not as good as home made but no work involved .
Very Disappointing
Don't they grade the potato sizes? They varied from walnut to cricket ball size! Very greasy to handle, didn't really brown or crisp at all. Looked and tasted like they'd been hanging around at a cheap carvery. I always do extra so there's leftover pickings. I needn't have bothered as they didn't get touched. It's handy to have a bag in the freezer but I'll be sticking with M&S.
Pretty average at best
These arent great, lots of them are tiny or green or full of eyes. There are better frozen roast potatoes out there.
OK
These are ok as they are if you don't have time to do your own but buy some duck or goose fat and it transforms them otherwise they are really dry. I've given up buying their chips, the driest going.
Awful
There were two huge chunks and the rest of the bag consisted of several tiny pieces, about 2½ cm square, and the smallest pieces were no larger than 1½ cm ! When roasted they were nothing like a roast potato. Won't buy again and I will stick with Aunt Bessie's.
good roasties
a great size and they were nice and crispy
