Humble crumble
Too powdery for a crumble mix almost like dust and it doesnt brown up easily .Will stick to me Aunt Bessies .
Couldn’t be cooked
Left in the oven for 1 hour and it was still just raw powder
terrible - will never buy again
The m&s one is brilliant but this stuff is awful. I've had my crumble in the oven for 50 minutes now and it's just browned at the edges - the bulk of it is still dry powder.
Bland dust
Awful. Flavourless, powdery dust.
awful - far too floury
this is just dreadful - all flour and little else - Aunt Bessies crumble mix is far superior
Dreadful
I can't believe McDougall put their name to this it's so awful. It's like a dry, floury powder. It hardly browned on top and was tasteless. It actually seemed to eat the rhubarb that was underneath it, perhaps because it was so dry it needed the nourishment....
