Really nice
Lovely texture added to a salad, even my little kids like this which was a surprise!
Perfect!
Perfect base for salads and a really convenient alternative to cooking quinoa myself, as it takes forever! Regular purchase in our household.
Dry and lacking taste
We had this warm and heated in the microwave. Done as per instruction it came out dry and was tasteless.
Mouldy
Perhaps just my packet but the contents were green and mouldy. Packaging said best before 2025. Needless to say I didn't try it!
A brilliant cupboard staple
Handy to have in the cupboard as a healthy quick side. Great when served with herbs/spices/seasoning to bulk up a meal.
Good but needs tweaks
I cooked this in a pan with a splash of water and cooked chickpeas, covered, for about 15 minutes which softened up the grains. It needed a decent amount of seasoning to give some flavour. Even better with a splash of balsamic vinaigrette.
