unpleasant
sickly sweet and artificial - such a shame.
Where is the Quality?
I think Mr Kipling has forgotten about good quality ingredients. I remember when puddings were much healthier and didn't leave you feeling sadly dissatisfied. A swift return to excellent quality food (even organic) is desperately needed.
So-So
The flavour is extremely artificial but they're not the worst value.
Average, not great
These dont really taste much of cherry bakewell. They are ok to have in for a quick pudding but not great.
Good value storecupboard staple
I don't understand the poor reviews. These sponge puddings aren't pretending to be homemade or restaurant quality - they're £1 each for goodness sake! For £1 a pud you get an excellent longlife storecupboard staple that takes just 30 seconds to heat up and is great with custard or ice cream. The flavours are a bit artificial but you still get a good cherry and almond hit. Call me an old fashioned 70s child but, to me, this is good value, old school comfort food!
Very nice
Lovely puddings especially with custard
