The award winning NUK First Choice+ Teat features the NUK orthodontic shape, a super soft zone which adapts perfectly to baby's palate and an extra wide lip support. The teat mimics the shape of a mother's nipple during breastfeeding which encourages latch on and is designed to make it easier to switch between breast and bottle-feeding.
The NUK Anti-Colic Air System reduces the risk of infant colic caused by a harmful swallowing of air.
NUK Bottles, Teats and Soothers are accredited by the Oral Health Foundation for promoting healthy development of baby's jaw and teeth.
The NUK First Choice+ 6-18mths Silicone Teat features a Medium size feed hole which is suitable for milk and formula. Small and Large feed hole teats are also available in either Silicone or Latex.
Preparation and Usage
- Before first use place in boiling water for 5 minutes, use sufficient water to avoid damage. To ensure hygiene, clean thoroughly using mild washing up liquid and sterilise before every further use. We recommend to use the NUK Steriliser Vapo Rapid for sterilisation.
- Teats and bottles do not belong in the dishwasher - dishwasher detergents can cause material damage!
- When sterilising in a microwave oven use the NUK Microwave Steriliser only to avoid material damage (please follow the instruction manual of the steriliser!).
- Do not microwave bottles filled with feed or water (risk of explosion/ material damage). Uneven heating may result in scalding!
- Never heat closed bottles as they may explode!
- Please softly squeeze vent and drinking hole/ slit before each use to ensure that it is open.
- Prepare your baby's feed only in the quantities and concentrations recommended by the infant formula manufacturers.

- Breastfeeding is best for your baby.
- Always use this product with adult supervision.
- Never use feeding teats as a soother.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay.
- Always check food temperature before feeding.
- Always check the teat for signs of excessive wear by pulling the teat in all directions before each use especially when the child has teeth. Replace when sticky from use, visibly damaged or showing signs of tears or bites to avoid the danger of small parts being swallowed.
- For safety and hygiene purposes, replace the teat after 1-2 months use.
- Do not leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave the teat in disinfectant ('sterilising solution') for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.
- Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medicines.

perfect for smooth feeds
we were finding that my daughter was having quite chaotic feeds with her avent bottles, we switched to these and she's been great, doesn't play with the teat unlike the avent bottles and great quality. Have struggled to find these elsewhere.
