Natoora Spanish Black Iberiko Winter Tomatoes
- Black Iberiko is one of the four varieties that we have brought under one banner – Winter Tomatoes – to mark out tomatoes that can only reach their full potential during the cooler months.
- From November to May, skilled growers can exert high levels of water-stress on their plants which would be impossible in hot, dry seasons. They grow in saline coastal regions, in poor, free draining soils; two factors that add to their stress rooted-growing.
- Grown by José in Almería, Iberiko have wine dark skin with mild lobing and dark green collars. Find a balance of bright acidity and umami sweetness in their firm flesh.
Take it further
- Best served raw, lightly seasoned and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.
- If left to soften, these make a fantastic and simple pasta sauce. Simply cook down with a little salt and olive oil.

lovely sweet winter tomatoes
So pleased I took the plunge with these: lovely, sweet and perfectly ripe. Very expensive but really good quality tomatoes.
great taste
Great taste
Natoora Spanish Tomatoes
I recently purchashed these tomatoes. Never again!! They were mouldy within two days......ans expensive.
tasty and a treat
I seem to have been lucky. these taste amazing. People who complain about "only two" - they are sold by weight, not number of toms. yes, they are expensive, but the taste is worth it. briefly roasted with olive oil, pepper and salt, a stunning accompaniment to just about anything.
Overripe and very expensive
I bought them on an offer but unlucky they were overripe. The original price is so expensive.
Not that good
went mouldy very quickly had to throw two away, not that tasty
