Natoora Watercress
- Hand cut and bunched Watercress from third generation grower Will in Hampshire – a region with an abundance of freshwater and a historic culture of watercress growing.
- Will grows in long beds or troughs, fed with a constant flow of pure spring water, which mimics its natural growing habitat. The running flow helps to reduce disease and pests and the constant cool temperature (around 8°C) and purity of the water brings out the natural sweetness in watercress.
- This slow-growing variety is succulent, with deep green leaves and a complex peppery profile.
- Picked fresh, watercress is a perishable green. It will store best in the fridge with its stems in water and the leaves loosely covered with a plastic bag.
Take it further
- Toss lightly in olive oil, salt and a little lemon juice and serve beside simply cooked fish.
- Blend raw through green soups to lend a vibrant, peppery profile.
Our packaging is plastic-free
- We have developed our own revolutionary packaging which is entirely plastic-free and home disposable. Each of our recyclable cardboard punnets is flow-wrapped with home-compostable film which, unlike traditional plastic flow-wrap, disintegrates within 180 days. Dispose of the black punnet in your normal recycling and the clear film in your food waste bin.
- Each punnet bears the ‘Plastic Free’ mark of A Plastic Planet, a grassroots movement which aims to turn off the plastic tap.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We don't work with industrial agriculture or large wholesalers
- We work closely with growers who are preserving vital flavours through meaningful small farming
- We back these growers to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet

Unacceptable Quality
For the second time this came with2 days BBD but was already stale, slimy and completely unacceptable. Come on Natoora and Ocado where is your quality control? Supplier should not have shipped and Ocado should not have accepted the consignment. Not good enough
Use quickly makes lovely soup
Very good flavour
really peppery!
This is the best watercress, you have to use it quickly but thats not a problem for me!
am I lucky?
I always get very crisp and fragrant batch. Maybe one leaf begins to yellow if I dont eat them immediately upon delivery but I order it whenever I see it available and have not seen a batch that is dreadful so far. Wish it were a little cheaper though.
dont buy this
It arrived sad and wilted and I kept it in the fridge for a few days because I felt bad about throwing it away. But I did. Because it just wasnt edible.
watercress
I'll not be buying this product anymore. It arrives wilting with so many yellow leaves that in a day it is no longer edible. We have some wonderful cress beds in the south of the country why can we not use them!
