Nice but not THAT nice.
They were nice however not nice enough to generally pay this much but you don't know that for sure without trying them. Once you get over a certain price point I don't really notice any difference between them so it's unlikely I'd but these again.
Amazing toms!
I WISH I could find a cheaper alternative but Im yet to. They are hands down THE best tinned tomatoes ever. I buy them fortnightly when I make a tomato sauce for home made meatballs and nothing compares. A bit of salt, olive oil and fresh basil is all these toms need. I wouldnt buy them for cooking something with strong flavours like a chilli, tikka masala or spag bol but if its a simple tomato sauce you want these are worth the price tag.
amazing sweetness!
Simply the best canned tomatoes ever tried!
Acidic and expensive
And not especially thick either. Took a long time plus sugar to stew down to sweetness. Disappointed. Cool can though (which is actually why I bought them!)
These are the best...
tinned tomatoes available in any supermarket anywhere in the world, today, yesterday or ever...and yes, they're better than those overpriced jars on here too. People complain about the price yet spend ten times this on 400g fillet steak. Screaming brutal bloody death vs sun-ripened perfection times ten. No, I'm not vegetarian.
Terrible
A can of water with a few tomatoes added, really poor especially for the price
