- Dried Shiitake Mushrooms, picked at full maturity and dried to concentrate their rich, nutty flavour. 

- Cover with boiling water and leave to stand for twenty minutes to rehydrate their meaty flesh. 

- Sourced for us by foragers in China, where the mild, humid climate is ideal for wild mushrooms.

- Soak in white wine, slow cook with venison.

wow love these

just discovered shiitake mushrooms and these dried versions are great. don't have to use them all at once . I add them to gravy to make it sumptuous, rich and dark. won't be making gravy without them from now on and the added health benefits are a real bonus.

Normally great, this time other mushrooms?

Normally I love this product. It’s whole dried shiitake mushrooms that are great for example in soups and very tasty. This time I received a bag of smaller pieces of mushrooms mostly what I think were chanterelles? Very odd. Hope it was just a one off packaging error by Natoora… I didn’t enjoy it.

S.Korean shiitake please

Ocado, please source and stick dried shiitake mushrooms from South Korea. No way I will touch them from Chinese - too much risk of contaminants. Thank you.

Small but packs a punch

These are small compared to usual dried shiitake mushrooms but they are much more fragrant.

These are really tasty when re-hydrated. You don't need many as so full of flavour but they are really expensive.

It’s not bad but

It’s expensive and it’s little. This mushroom has a good flavor but I will not buy this often .
