FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Golden Beetroot
- Dense golden beetroot are delicately textured with a mellow, slightly sweeter flavour than other varieties.
- We select for flavour rather than calibre, so the size and weight of the beetroot may vary.
- That means that unlike industrially-grown beetroot which becomes woody as it grows, this variety retains its smooth, finely-grained texture even at maincrop size.
Take it further
- Peel, slice thinly raw and toss with toasted walnuts & extra virgin olive oil.
- Braise whole in white wine, hard herbs and olive oil.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We are revolutionising the food system.
- We work direct with growers to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet.

Tiny and on the turn
I couldnt believe my eyes when these arrived. They are roughly the size of a large lime, and probably only have 2 or 3 days before they start going rotten. Abysmal value, even on a flash sale
really nice.
I roasted them with just a sprinkle of salt and pepper and oil, they were delicious. I quartered them and the corners went really caramelised and sticky.
Great beetroots
I ordered them as they were on sale and they were great! I love beetroot so these were a nice change to standard ones. I roasted them with garlic, Rosmary and olive oil and served with duck confit. Will definitely order again!
Rotten
I am sure if the 'Golden beetroot' was fresh it would have been amazing, however when the large vegetable arrived it was not golden inside it was grey and spongy. Given that this is a premium product then how it its transported and sold should be considered important. I would recommend the basic organic beetroot sold by Ocado which is excellent.
So disappointing \- tasteless
These days you have no idea what Ocado will send you, no matter how much you pay for fresh produce. I received an enormous Swede sized golden beetroot. I had to cut it up in order to cook it. It took forever and the result was horrific - tasteless and fiberous - fit only for feeding livestock. So disappointing, especially for the money. Don't bother.
2 rotten
Of the 3 small beetroots we got 2 were completely rotten inside and was showing mould on outside Why would you stock such stuff And then actually send it out !!
