Natoora Italian White Onions
- We source these aromatic, flavoursome onions directly from our grower Matteo in Emilia Romagna, Italy’s most famous onion-growing region.
- The long plain in the valley of the River Pau and its rich, alluvial soil make the ideal growing ground for onions.
- Matteo specialises in White Onions, carefully selecting and conserving his crop to ensure a continuous, consistent vegetable.
- We’re able to trace our onions from field to plate, working with an experienced grower to dedicate the same care to these staples as we do to our more specialised items.
Take it further
- Macerated in white wine vinegar for a quick pickle.
- Sweated slowly with thyme and lemon zest, served with grilled pork chops.
Natoora' radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We are revolutionising the food system.
- We work direct with growers who value flavour, biodiversity and heritage over yield.
- We give them the support they need to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet.

small!
Pricey but tasty!
Lovely onion, but pricey
Lovely tasting onion, but very small. ou'll need 8 for a family of 4 (one meal. Probabl;y worth more than gold per lb.
very small
Got this as part of an offer so half price. These were very small almost satsuma sized! I was expecting large onions. Wouldnt buy again
Used to be better
The onions I received tonight were rotten. They arrived in brown paper bag and were much smaller than usual too. They were soft and must have well past date to use. They also had black mould on the bottom. Never had this bad quality before and I buy every week.
Rotten & Stinky
Sounds like a bad 90s DJ team, but 2 packs delivered and both rotten and black in the middle. The kitchen still stinks the day after!
Perfect Salad Ingredient
Ive bought these regularly over the last 6 months and have never been disappointed. Yes, they are mild, but they are sweet and crunchy. Definitely a favourite. I use them in salads, kebabs, onion rings. Too good to use as an ingredient in other dishes.
