FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Seasonally Selected British Apples
- Our apple selection will change with the season as and when varieties ripen. Each variety is picked by hand.
- We start with early season Red Windsor and move through Worcester Pearmain, Lord Lambourne, Jonaprince, Mairac, Fuji and other British apple varieties.
- Each has its own characteristic flavour, from the strawberry notes of a Worcester Pearmain to the savouriness of a Russet.
- Our apples are grown in the High Weald of East Sussex, in 30 acres of orchard planted in the middle of 20th century.
- Harvest is typically a little later in this corner of the world, as the light intensity is lower: the apples grow more slowly and develop more mature flavour.
Take it further
- Thinly sliced, tossed with seasonal bitter leaves and fennel.
- Cut into wedges, served with hard cheese.

apples look like from 2 seasons ago, at least.
Terrible
Out of 5 apples, 2 were rotten and had to be binned and the other 3 were all bruised. I think Natora are having a laugh!!!!
Very tasty and British
Good apples and not much transport as they are British. I would appreciate Ocado bringing even more British product: they are fresher, help UK business and avoid transportation and carbon emissions.
Sharp and sour
I struggled to eat a few mouthfuls of these apples that I stewed.
Delicious varieties
These apples are just the very best. Every variety is flavourful but obviously very different so some might appeal more than others. Since buying these for the first time quite a while ago, I have not chosen any other supermarket apples. Very occasionally there are slight bruises but these may be due to handling by Ocado. Not difficult to cut a tiny bit out of the apple and enjoy the rest :-). Will definitely keep buying these, thank you Natoora!
Nice apples
Got them on flash sale, probably wouldnt pay full price again, though they were nice. We got 2 golden apples and 3 of other variety. Good sizes, fresh and crisp.
