FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Organic Unwaxed Seville Oranges for Marmalade
- Unwaxed bitter Seville oranges direct from a family farm in Seville, southern Spain.
- Mild winter temperatures in the region allow the trees to build a strong concentration of sugars in the orange’s flesh, resulting in a balanced, bittersweet flavour.
- Grown without any chemical sprays or fertilisers, these bitter oranges are picked by hand at full maturity.
- Their untreated and unwaxed zest maximises the flavour potential for traditional winter marmalades.
- We work with the third generation of this family business. Headed up by three women, they share our dedication to growing for flavour, not yield.
- Sourced during their natural season of December to February.
Take it further
- Add an extra tone to your marmalade - Campari, ginger or cardamom

Excellent
I bought two packs on flash and wasnt expecting them to be brilliant as its so late in the season - but they were stupendous! Large, good skins and made very good marmalade
surprisingly sweet
I bought these for marmalade and they had surprisingly few pips and were hardly bitter. I could certainly have eaten them. I cut the sugar in my marmalade recipe by 1/3 but the marmalade is still too sweet. I wonder if really it is just too late in the season?
This is for making Marmalade!
It is quite surprise to see lots of comment who tried to eat Seville Orange which is categorized as Jam making oranges in UK. Anyway, it was perfect quality and freshness to make jam!
Check the weight
I bought 2x 1 kg bags of these good quality oranges, as I do every year, for making marmalade. I washed and very lightly trimmed off a few brown blemishes and popped them on the scales to weigh and so calculate the sugar needed. To my surprise I found that my 2kg now weighed less than 1.8 kg! Surprising as I removed very little from the fruit! Beware and Ocado, perhaps you should investigate?
Three times the price of Waitrose!
I couldn't quite believe the price so I checked my local Waitrose to find they are £2.79 there. Unfortunately I had bought some from Ocado the week before I checked - won't be making that mistake again!
NOT FOR EATING RAW THEY ARE FOR MARMALADE
People do not seem to realise they are not the type of oranges you peel and eat. They need cooking with lots of sugar added and WOW you then have excellent marmade!
